Suarez and Teague address evolving feminist values, the landmarks that teach us how to be girls and women, and the cultural boundaries that shape gender identity. In an effort to defend gender fluidity, this intergenerational cast moves us through transitions--from girl to woman, boy to girl, and man to woman with irreverent humor, compelling narratives, and a decisively open perspective.
